Abstract Fabric-based laminated composites are used considerably for multifaceted applications in the automotive, transportation, defense, and structural construction sectors. The fabrics composite materials production possess some outstanding features including being lighter weight, higher strength, lower cost, which helps explain rising interest these among researchers. However, laminations of different types such as knit, woven, nonwoven. Compared to knitted nonwoven fabrics, woven widely reinforcement materials. Composites made from fabric depend on properties fiber types, origin, compositions, polymeric matrixes. Finite element analysis is also further facilitating efficient prediction final properties. As available throughout world, feasible cost-effective. This review discusses fabrication, thermo-mechanical, morphological performances fabric-based composites.
